Job Summary
School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) needed for a part-time role at a charter school in Philadelphia, PA. Implement specialized therapy per the student’s IEP; administer PT assessments to determine functioning relative to age and educational placement; analyze and interpret assessment data to guide instruction; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, teachers, and other service providers; serve on the school’s multidisciplinary team and IEP program; complete, update, and maintain required documentation; perform other duties as assigned. Requires Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, active PA PT license, and at least 1 year of consecutive experience with children in an educational setting; comfortable with computers; able to complete school-district documentation; current clearances. Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
- Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
