Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' skills and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide direct intervention services including therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment training both individually and in groups. Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and promote skill generalization across settings. Monitor student progress regularly, adjust intervention plans as needed, and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, intervention plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork in compliance with legal and professional standards. Provide consultation, education, and training to parents, teachers, and other professionals to enhance understanding and support of students' needs. This role supports students with diverse abilities to achieve their full potential within the Newark, NJ school system.
Required Qualifications
