Job Summary

Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students in the school setting. Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate, Medicaid-compliant clinical documentation. Coordinate care with parents, guardians, school personnel, physicians, and community providers while participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Monitor client progress and modify interventions as clinically appropriate, ensuring adherence to HIPAA, FERPA, and agency policies. Schedule includes Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 15 hours weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina license in good standing (LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, LCSW-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, or Licensed Psychologist, as applicable)
  • Eligible to provide mental health services within the state of North Carolina
  • Reside in Cabarrus County or an adjacent county
  • Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable transportation for travel between school locations when necessary

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing school-based behavioral health services
  • Knowledge of Medicaid documentation and billing requirements
  • Experience collaborating with schools, community agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with interagency and intra-agency workflows
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
