Job Summary
Travel School-based Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services to students in a school setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation. Requires current OTA certification/licensure in the state of practice and graduation from an accredited OTA program; pediatric experience and 1 year of OTA experience preferred. Compliance with professional standards, CPR if applicable, TB screening or chest x-ray, and health certificate per contract/state regulation. Assignment spans 36 weeks, 37 hours per week with a 12-hour shift; travel employment. Employer offers competitive pay, health/dental/vision/life coverage, 401(k), and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required
- One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
