Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based teams to implement strategies supporting classroom participation. Monitor student progress, adapt treatment plans, and maintain accurate session notes and billing documentation. Guide parents and staff on strategies for enhancing motor skills and sensory regulation. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain Maryland state licensure and work with students across various grades and need levels.
Required Qualifications
- OT MD state licensure
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Educator Certificate
