Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) for school-based ESY in Tunkhannock, PA. Implement specialized therapy per the student's IEP, administer OT assessments to determine functioning relative to age/educational placement, analyze assessment data to guide instruction, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (special education staff, teachers, other service providers), provide consultation to school staff and parents to support student goals, complete and maintain required documentation, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires Master's degree in OT, PA OT license, and at least 1 year of consecutive experience with children/adolescents in an educational setting; must have current clearances and be able to meet school-district documentation standards. W2/1099 position with benefits offered; flexible schedule around ESY and school calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License
- Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
