Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for elementary and high school students with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve fine motor skills, visual-motor skills, sensory processing, and independence. Provide therapeutic interventions and support activities of daily living while collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines. Educate families and school personnel regarding therapy goals and accommodations. Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans to promote functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of New Hampshire
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, student-focused approach and strong clinical judgment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
