Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based teams to support classroom participation. Monitor progress, adapt treatment plans, and maintain accurate records including billing documentation. Guide parents and staff on strategies for student development. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain licensure and stay current with pediatric therapy research.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
