Job Summary
Coordinate student referrals and connect families to behavioral health services, guiding them through insurance verification, Medicaid screening, and service enrollment. Schedule intake appointments, maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance. Build relationships with school personnel and community partners to support student success and facilitate access to care when school-based options are unavailable. Answer incoming calls and provide administrative support to school-based service teams while adhering to privacy and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Understanding of mental health systems and school-based service models
- Knowledge of community resources and the ability to coordinate support services
- Proficiency in documentation, electronic health records, and telephonic communication
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Successful completion of background screening, including criminal history, driving record, abuse/neglect screening, and fingerprint check
- Current driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Current automobile insurance
