Job Summary
Conduct telephone triage and crisis intervention, including evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up, at City of Newton Public Schools. Act as a liaison with community providers to ensure continuity of care for a broad range of individuals of varying ages and backgrounds. Participate in the daily operation of the 24-hour emergency services team, utilizing orientation materials focused on diagnosis, safety assessment, and resource awareness. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm as part of a growing team dedicated to developing clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human service field
Desired Qualifications
- Two years experience in the field of mental health preferred
- Experience with children
- knowledge of the youth system of care
