Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to elementary school students, including telehealth when clinically appropriate. Maintain weekly billable expectations while completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary providers to coordinate referrals for psychiatric evaluations or community resources. Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and professional development while adhering to Maryland licensing regulations. Requires an active Maryland license (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT), Master's degree, and proficiency with EHR systems. Serves Anne Arundel County Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active Maryland license in good standing: LMSW
- Active Maryland license in good standing: LCSW-C
- Active Maryland license in good standing: LGPC
- Active Maryland license in good standing: LCPC
- Active Maryland license in good standing: LCMFT
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully complete federal and state background checks.
- Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain upon hire).
