School Based Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary
Promotes the mental health and wellness of students with disabilities by providing school-based mental health counseling to assist the student in progressing toward IEP goals; provides individual and/or group therapy in the school setting; participates in IEP meetings; collaborates with special education teachers to develop goals and accommodations; conducts Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA); assesses student safety and develops plans with the team; supports Medicaid billing documentation; retrains and develops staff through professional development; ensures compliance with federal/state/district policies; works independently to prioritize and manage duties across a district-wide scope.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Psychology, or Masters Degree in Social Work, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or any Masters level degree equivalent
- Must be able to counsel without supervision

- Knowledge Of: Basic computer skills including use of mouse and keyboard to navigate computer, e-mail, and websites.
