Job Summary

Lead collaborative team workshops, grade-level teacher learning cycles, and one-on-one coaching rounds to increase student engagement and build teacher capacity. Analyze student assessment data to assist teachers in designing aligned instructional lessons and identifying specific needs. Model effective, differentiated instruction and provide support for classroom motivation and management strategies. Encourage ongoing professional growth through peer observations, research, and inquiry while managing a flexible schedule to facilitate teacher learning. Work positively toward meeting district and building improvement goals by developing curriculum materials and maintaining confidential, collegial relationships with PreK-8 staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
  • Current North Carolina Teaching License
  • Demonstrated knowledge of North Carolina content standards
  • Experience in researched-based instructional practices
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated strength in organization, communication skills, and efficiency in meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a positive collaborative member of a team
  • Demonstrated interest and engagement in professional learning and reflection
