Job Summary
Conduct individual and group learning opportunities for teachers while analyzing student assessment data to inform lesson design and classroom management strategies. Model differentiated instruction, assist in creating curriculum-aligned materials, and research instructional solutions to support teacher capacity. Provide encouragement and emotional support to educators, fostering ongoing professional growth and collaboration within grade-level learning teams. Manage a flexible schedule to facilitate these initiatives while working toward district improvement goals. Develop and maintain confidential, collegial relationships with staff as assigned by the PreK-8 Director and Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- Current North Carolina Teaching License
- Demonstrated knowledge of North Carolina content standards
- Experience in researched-based instructional practices
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated strength in organization, communication skills, and efficiency in meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to function as a positive collaborative member of a team
- Demonstrated interest and engagement in professional learning and reflection
