Job Summary
Therapeutic Aide in a school-based setting working 1:1 or in small groups with clients inside a local school district. Implement trauma-informed behavior principles to increase coping skills and pro-social skills while decreasing unsafe or disruptive behavior. Observe client skills, collect data to inform individual goals, and collaborate with school personnel. Attend school-related meetings and provide coaching, training, and support to parents/caregivers in behavior management to promote generalization of skills. Hours are Monday–Friday 7 AM–4 PM. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous professional experience working with children
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science preferred
- ABA experience is a plus
- Experience working with children who have Autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities is a plus
