Job Summary
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses for assigned Monarch School students, then develop and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans. Coordinate plan implementation across school settings, utilize Behavior Skills Training to educate staff on ABA principles, and maintain behavioral measurement systems with graphical data reports. Observe students regularly in the classroom, consult with directors and teachers on intervention strategies, and contribute to Individual Education Plan goals. Document clinical records in compliance with licensing standards, utilize Safety Care procedures including Two-Person Stability Holds when necessary, and debrief crisis management situations with classroom teams. Work within small classroom teams using the visual language immersion teaching model to support students with autism and related disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)
- 1 Year Educational Aide Permit – Ohio Department of Education
- Pass Safety Care Core Curriculum by passing the written exam, attending the full duration of training, participating and passing the required role plays, and demonstrating the full competencies up to and including the Two-Person Stability Hold required
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
- Experience conducting Functional Analyses
- Experience writing Behavior Intervention Plans
- Experience working with children with autism and related disorders
- Experience in crisis management
- Must have regular and predictable attendance
