School Based Behavioral Technician

Job Summary
Provide 1-to-1 support to the child and collaborate with educational teams to address the child’s therapeutic needs using behavioral interventions outlined in the student’s behavioral plan in the school setting. Facilitate problem-solving and skill development, instruct on understanding and managing emotions, support improved decision-making and social skills, teach stress reduction techniques, collect behavioral data, and document activity in an EMR. Work with CFF School Based Outpatient team, DCIU staff, and families; participate in supervision; follow Trauma-Informed Care values (Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, Empowerment); perform duties as assigned. This is a 10-month position for the 2025–2026 school year with potential continuation, 7:30am-3pm M-F, Aston, PA, school-based environment with competitive benefits and PSLF eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, sociology, education, criminal justice, or other related human services field
- OR a Licensed Registered Nurse with one (1) year verified full-time paid experience in direct care with children/adolescents
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in another field with one (1) year verified full-time paid experience in direct care with children/adolescents
- OR an Associate’s degree or sixty (60) credits toward a bachelor’s degree with three (3) years verified full-time paid work experience in direct care with children/adolescents
