Job Summary
Provide Behavioral Health support within K-12 school settings as a School-Based Behavioral Health Technician (BHT); implement behavior plans for students with significant behavioral and emotional challenges; duties include direct work with students during the school day, collaboration with school district personnel, and completing school-district compliant clinical documentation. Requires 40-hour RBT training, comfort with computers, current clearances, and potential support for RBT certification. Position is W2, full-time with benefits and a schedule aligned to the school calendar ( summers off, ESY may be available).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year demonstrated experience in a school setting with students with behavioral/emotional challenges
- 40-Hour RBT training required
- Comfortable using a computer
- Ability to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances within 6 months
- Experience implementing behavior plans with children with severe behaviors
