Job Summary
Provide weekly life skills training and counseling sessions tailored to each student's unique needs while facilitating therapeutic activities to build confidence and emotional resilience. Partner with parents, teachers, and agencies such as DDD or Juvenile Probation to create a unified front for the child's success. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop treatment plans and participate in weekly supervision. Work Monday through Friday following the school calendar, with additional leadership during breaks and summer programming. Transport clients using a personal vehicle and maintain mobility to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in youth behavioral health
- Licensed or Associate Licensed
- 1+ year experience in counseling/assessments
- Familiarity with CBT
- Familiarity with trauma-focused care
- Familiarity with Arizona's 12 Principles
- Must be 21+
- Valid Driver's License
- Personal vehicle
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
