Job Summary
School-Based Behavior Technician (BT) in Scranton, PA area providing behavioral support to K-12 students within a local school district. Position is full-time (approximately 7 hours per day, Monday–Friday during normal school hours) with W2 benefits and competitive compensation based on education and experience. Roles include implementing behavior plans, supporting students with significant behavioral challenges, completing clinical documentation to district standards, maintaining computer-based records, and collaborating with school personnel. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, at least one year of school-based experience, and 40-hour RBT training. Summers off with ESY possible but not guaranteed. Opportunity to pursue RBT certification with company support.
Required Qualifications
- Must have High Diploma or equivalent
- Must have minimum one year demonstrated experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
- 40-Hour RBT training is required
- Must be comfortable working with children who may exhibit challenging behaviors
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Must have experience implementing behavior plans and working with children with severe behaviors
