School Based Behavior Interventionist supports a certified teacher in implementing multi-sensory IEP-based instruction for students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom; implements behavior plans, collects data for BCBA review, and assists in maintaining student records, materials, and crisis-intervention procedures while working one-on-one with students, contributing to behavior management and skill acquisition in an autism-focused setting.
Required Qualifications
- 48+ College Units completed preferred
- Must complete a 40-hour training and competency exam on applied behavior analysis or be RBT certified
- Working knowledge of child guidance principles and practices
- Previous experience working with children with autism
- Ability to pass Pro-Act Training
- Ability to pass CPR Training
