School Secretary B provides a wide range of clerical and administrative support to the School Principal, including answering phones, directing visitors, typing, copying and faxing documents, ordering supplies, managing mail, checking students in/out, signing in substitute teachers, maintaining absentee logs, assisting with insurance claims, communicating with parents, and generating reports. The role also includes minor medical care per policy, ensuring confidentiality of student and employee records, seeking opportunities to improve service and processes, and supporting teamwork across the school system. Strong communication and word processing/spreadsheet skills are required, with 0-6 months of clerical experience; the position is assigned to Prairieville, Louisiana, with a 9-month assignment period and non-exempt status.
