Job Summary
Monitor students and the school complex for safety violations, report unauthorized personnel, and diffuse situations among students. Perform minor housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment. Recognize potential security risks while providing customer service to the general public. Requires basic safety principles knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to complete Crossing Guard training. Applicants will receive instructions for obtaining a fingerprint clearance card. Sedentary work involves occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to complete Crossing Guard training
- Basic safety and security principles, practices, equipment, and procedures
