Job Summary
Manage the classroom to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for Kindergarten through 4th grade students. Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum by planning and delivering effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs using diverse learning modalities. Serve as a role model to foster a growth mindset, while maintaining regular communication with parents to share progress and achievements. Collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals, building strong relationships with families and colleagues. This role requires at least one year of professional teaching experience and a Texas Early Education certificate, with a salary range of $16 - $17.
Required Qualifications
- 24 hours pre-service in Texas Early Education certificate
- Early Childhood Education experience or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Must meet state-specific guidelines and possess the required certifications for the role
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a daycare, preschool, or kindergarten setting
- Early Childhood Education experience or a related field
