Job Summary
School Age Site Lead at Silverbrook Intermediate School coordinates before/after school programs, day camp and related YMCA childcare activities at a Kettle Moraine YMCA site. Responsibilities include planning and expanding programs, managing site hours and staff/volunteers, ensuring Wisconsin State Licensing compliance and safety, maintaining facilities and records, engaging with families and community partners, and participating in required meetings. Requires an Associate’s degree (preferred), 1–2 years childcare program experience, 18+ years old, CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days of hire preferred), and strong organizational/communication skills. Part-time hours are scheduled Monday–Friday before and after school with early morning and late afternoon shifts; wage range $20–$23/hour; benefits include YMCA membership and program discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- One to two years related experience preferred in a childcare program
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must complete Continuing Education as required by Wisconsin State Licensing Standards
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred; required within 30 days of hire
- The ability to relate to diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be Child Care Teacher qualified or have the ability to become Child Care Teacher qualified within 3 months of hire
