Job Summary
Coordinates the school age childcare programs for Kettle Moraine YMCA including before and after school, day camp, and kid’s day out; ensures high quality programs; trains and directs staff and volunteers; ensures state licensing and safety requirements are met; maintains records; engages with parents and community partners; supports development and expansion of programs within the site; adheres to Code of Conduct and program policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- One to two years related experience preferred in a childcare program
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must complete Continuing Education as required by Wisconsin State Licensing Standards
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred; required within 30 days of hire
- The ability to relate to diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be Child Care Teacher qualified or have the ability to become Child Care Teacher qualified within 3 months of hire
- Bloodborne Pathogens/Child Abuse Prevention every year
