Job Summary
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities while supporting children's social, emotional, language, and physical development. Welcome children and families, provide active supervision during indoor and outdoor activities, and promote health and safety practices. Observe children to document developmental progress, communicate with families regarding needs and concerns, and mentor Assistant Teachers, Leaders, and volunteers. Assist with personal care routines, maintain a clean classroom environment, and participate in professional development, staff meetings, and reflective supervision. Work Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM–6:00 PM, for approximately 16.25 hours per week at a rate of $20.65/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience working with children
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and team members
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend hours
Desired Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Associate degree or 60 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field
