School-Age Group Leader (Harlem Community Center)

Lead a group of children through daily activities, including swimming and water-based programs, while supervising and actively participating in all events. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment by building strong relationships with youth, parents, and school staff, and model respectful behavior to promote teamwork and healthy habits. Support day-to-day site operations by maintaining clean spaces, managing equipment, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and safety standards. Assist with behavior management using positive guidance techniques and report safety concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with leadership, participate in team meetings and trainings, and implement engaging, educational, and recreational activities aligned with program goals.
