Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment by acting as a positive role model for school-age children. Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school regulations while supporting operations such as attendance records and registration. Work mornings from 7:00 to 8:30 am on the school calendar in Beacon, NY, for the 2026–2027 year. This part-time role offers employer-paid childcare for enrolled children and aligns well with parents, education majors, or retirees seeking community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
