Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework assistance while supervising children ages 5–12 in a safe, structured environment. Provide daily communication with parents via the Playground App and maintain accurate attendance records if assigned management functions. Act as a positive role model ensuring compliance with state guidelines and host school policies while staying until the last child leaves the program. This part-time role at Royalston Community School runs from 2:50 PM to 6:00 PM for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree and at least three months of experience working with school-age children
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of experience working with school-age children, including at least three months of supervised experience in a school-age childcare program
- At least nine months of experience working with school-age children, including at least three months of supervised experience in a school-age childcare program
