Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment, acting as a positive role model for children in the after-school program from 3:25 to 6:00 pm. Observe state guidelines, program policies, and school regulations while supporting operations such as attendance records, registration, and staffing. Maintain required health clearances and demonstrate reliability, organization, and strong interpersonal skills in this part-time role at Dublin Consolidated School.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age
- A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period
- One year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age
- Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude
