Job Summary
Lead the Before and After School program at Minadeo Elementary by ensuring full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL regulations and maintaining all child and staff documentation. Direct engaging activities including STEAM, fitness, academics, and arts while actively supervising children and staff to maintain safe ratios. Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling, and serve as the liaison between families, school administration, and the main office using the Playground App. Work morning or afternoon shifts following the school calendar with a full background check and medical clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13
- Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13
- Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13
