Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the after school and summer camp programs, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with state regulations and school requirements. Plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support. Manage daily operations by tracking attendance, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels while communicating regularly with parents via the Playground App. Collaborate with direct reports to address concerns and support staff morale. This year-round, part-time role at Ellicottville Elementary School includes school-year hours from 2:45pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and variable summer camp hours from 7am to 3pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- NY State Children's Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience
- Medical clearance to perform all job duties and be free from communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB)
