Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment as a positive role model, ensuring compliance with state guidelines, program policies, and school rules. Support program operations by managing attendance records, registration, and staffing duties. Work morning or afternoon shifts adhering to the school calendar, with part-time, non-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field
- Bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in the above fields plus 1 year of relevant experience
- Associate's degree in the above fields plus 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree including 30 credit hours in the above fields plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials plus 2 years of relevant experience
- 18 years of age
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
