Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while providing homework assistance. Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment by acting as a positive role model for children ages 5–12. Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App and observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies. Stay until the last child leaves the program and perform management functions like accurate attendance records and registration if assigned. Work split shifts in the morning (6:45 AM – 7:45 AM) or afternoon (2:45 PM – 6:00 PM) at Monroeville Elementary School.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Exceptional people skills
- Professional
- Reliable
- Prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be available for split shift schedule (Morning: 6:45 AM – 7:45 AM, Afternoon: 2:45 PM – 3 PM until 6:00 PM)
- Part-time employment status
