Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment by acting as a positive role model for children ages 5-12. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Certain positions may perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing. Work part-time on the school calendar, with morning hours from 7:00-8:45 am and afternoon hours from 2:30-5:45 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Requires the ability to actively engage with energetic children
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a consistent record of reliability and punctuality
