Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children in the program. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities. Work mornings from 7:30 to 9:00 am or afternoons from 2:55 to 5:15 pm, with opportunities for both shifts. This role is ideal for parents, education majors, or retirees seeking hands-on experience mentoring children in a structured, engaging setting.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
