Job Summary
Lead daily School Age Care operations for 5-11 year olds, administering first aid, supervising students indoors and outdoors, and managing logistics like activity planning, materials preparation, and scheduling. Guide School Age Care Associates on expectations and problem-solving while communicating with parents regarding attendance, incidents, and student needs. Prepare and serve snacks, maintain equipment, and coordinate field trip supervision. Provide continuity of program services during Site Manager absences and attend staff meetings. Requires criminal background clearance, ability to lift and carry, and a minimum age of 16. Part-time weekends off with AM and PM shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old minimum
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
- Knowledge of basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios
- Ability to read a variety of manuals
- Ability to write documents following prescribed formats
- Ability to present information to others
- Understanding of complex, multi-step written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of age appropriate activities
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to LKZ and LPS
- Knowledge of positive reinforcement techniques
- Skill to adhere to safety practices
- Skill to control and motivate students
- Ability to schedule activities
- Ability to collate data
