Job Summary
Create a safe, nurturing environment and supervise daily class functions for enrolled children. Implement the school curriculum, assess developmental needs, and cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and staff. Bring warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom while planning and executing activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Maintain a valid TB skin test, proof of MMR and Covid vaccination, food handlers permit, and first aid/CPR certification. Work Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM as a part-time Assistant Teacher at Kids N Us.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid TB skin test
- Valid Proof of MMR
- Valid Proof of Covid Vaccine or Approved Exemption
- Valid food handlers permit
- Valid first aid and CPR card
- Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course)
- Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)
- Work Location: In person
