Job Summary
School Advisor-Bilingual Mandarin: Conduct consultations with parents and students during Open House events, School Tours, and online meetings; introduce the schoolâs programs, curriculum, campus life, and unique strengths to prospective families, and support student enrollment and admissions. Provide guidance and planning support for students applying from U.S. high schools to U.S. colleges; monitor international studentsâ academic progress and adjustment; provide regular feedback to Asian school representatives and parents; maintain daily communication with teachers and staff; support admissions, events, and student services. Requires strong English communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and bilingual Mandarin proficiency to collaborate with American staff, families, and schools.
Required Qualifications
- Experience guiding students through the full U.S. high school to U.S. college application process
- Strong understanding of U.S. college admissions and academic planning
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to work directly with American staff, families, and schools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Responsible, organized, and able to work in an international work environment
