Job Summary
Scholarship Coordinator in a part-time role leading scholarship administration for Moore County Schools. Responsibilities include receiving and distributing scholarship materials, serving as liaison to sponsors, promoting scholarships via school channels and community events, coordinating scholarship deadlines and chats, creating student scholarship profiles, handling transcripts and donor information, inviting college representatives, coordinating with scholarship committees, nominating students for awards, aiding NCAA eligibility processes, drafting letters of recommendation, attending workshops to stay current on scholarship information, planning and executing the Annual Scholarship Awards Banquet and College Fair, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires strong organization, communication, confidentiality, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders; supervises no one. Physical and cognitive requirements include light physical work and ability to prepare and manage forms, reports, and communications in multiple languages, with emphasis on accuracy, grammar, and professional interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Graduation from high school and any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
