Job Summary
Lead passenger ships on scheduled, daily, and special trips while strictly adhering to all legal regulations and safety standards. Manage vessel maintenance and coordinate with on-board and shore teams to ensure smooth operations. Support crew training and instruction, maintaining a calm demeanor during high-pressure situations. Requires a completed ship captain qualification, Rhine shipping license, radio certificate, and German language proficiency. Flexible work hours including weekends and evenings are mandatory. Negotiable salary with options for reduced weekly hours during off-seasons and an accrual system for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung Schiffsführer/in
- Rheinschifferpatent Mannheim – Koblenz oder kleines Patent für den Neckar
- Funksprechzeugnis
- Bereitschaft für flexible Arbeitszeiten (Wochenend- und Abendfahrten)
