Scheduling Specialist - PRN

Job Summary
Conduct daily patient scheduling via telephone, electronic, and face-to-face methods while managing auto-reminder call programs. Partner with the registration department to optimize check-in and check-out processes, ensuring high patient satisfaction and accuracy. Proactively communicate scheduling concerns or issues to all Medical Group members and supporting departments. Courteously facilitate and handle requests, complaints, and communications with staff, physicians, and patients, exercising sound judgment and diplomacy. Participate in process improvement activities to meet organizational goals. Requires a high school diploma or GED, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Open hours are PRN as needed with a 25% incentive for employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- associates degree in business or healthcare related field
- Demonstrated problem solving and planning skills
- Ability to instruct personnel; both professional and non-professional
- Excellent collaboration and management skills with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
