Job Summary

Scheduling Specialist responsible for answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to ensure accurate appointment scheduling, registering patients, and verifying financial information for proper reimbursement. Works with departments and physician offices to manage scheduling, adds-on patients, and communicates patient details. Requires ability to edit, cancel, and reschedule appointments per department protocols, and to handle outpatient testing and physician-related tasks. Must have High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of call-center or high-volume medical office experience; remote work available after training for local PA/NJ candidates. Office location: Allentown, PA.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One to two years of call center experience or experience in a medical office, hospital or business office with high patient/customer volumes
  • Ability to sit for long periods and perform data entry
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle scheduling, insurance issues, and coordination with multiple departments
