Job Summary
Scheduling Specialist responsible for managing monthly shift rosters, approving/adjusting schedule events (vacations, sick leave, parental leaves), coordinating with managers for advance scheduling, utilizing NEVOS and other tools (JIRA, WIKI, MS Office) to ensure full coverage, meeting KPI targets for rotation efficiency and overtime, and handling communications with employees about schedule changes. Requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, ability to work independently or with a team, and a proactive approach to scheduling efficiency and coverage. Includes payroll reporting duties and training new staff on scheduling processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2 years of experience scheduling in any field preferred but not required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel functions
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Sense of urgency
