Job Summary

Organize sales order demands, support forecast planning, and manage inventory strategies to ensure materials flow smoothly through the supply chain. Own and maintain the master production schedule to align customer demand with production capacity, translating forecasts into executable production plans. Monitor schedule adherence and production performance, adjusting for constraints or shortages while coordinating with procurement and manufacturing teams. Identify material shortages and capacity risks to support on-time delivery and participate in cross-functional meetings to align operational priorities. Assist with purchase orders, revenue projections, and lean manufacturing efforts to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for production and material planning
  • Hands-on experience with material planning and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly related to capacity, materials, and production schedules
  • Understanding material planning concepts such as MRP, Kanban, safety stock, and lead times
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments, preferably high-mix or engineered products
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, such as Kaizen
