Job Summary
Manage work schedules for the Peel/Halton Region by matching guards to posts, notifying staff of changes, and controlling costs through effective scheduling strategies. Coordinate daily assignments for supervisory staff, brief supervisors on schedule updates, and match security guards to site requirements and qualifications. Act as the first point of contact for inquiries, confirm health and safety, and respond to emergency situations, call-offs, and absences to ensure continuous site coverage. Maintain accurate data entry for timekeeping, payroll, and billing while tracking leave requests and coordinating training requirements. Advise management on staffing openings and performance issues, ensuring all site contracts and guard certifications remain current.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool or College Diploma
- Minimum of one 2-3 years of related experience in the security industry
- Detail oriented
- Flexible to work both remote and in office when required
- Solid planning and organizing skills
- Solid customer service skills and results orientation
- Effective communication and people skills
- Strong customer service and results orientation
- Proficient in use of various software applications including MS Word, Excel, and email
