Job Summary
Scheduling Manager overseeing all scheduling functions to optimize workforce coverage and operational efficiency. Develop, manage, and improve scheduling systems and processes; coordinate staff schedules across departments; forecast scheduling needs; address gaps; serve as the primary contact for scheduling inquiries; collaborate with department leaders to align scheduling with production targets and service levels; monitor attendance and schedule changes; lead scheduling staff; implement process improvements to increase efficiency; generate reports for senior leadership; ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies; proficient use of Kronos/UKG/When I Work; strong data analysis, communication, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in a scheduling, workforce management, or operations supervisory role
- Proficiency with scheduling software and workforce management platforms (e.g., Kronos, UKG, When I Work, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis and reporting
