Job Summary
Scheduling and Inventory Control Manager oversees plant-level production planning, forecasting, and inventory control, including item creation (BOMs/routings/specifications) and data accuracy in Oracle; responsible for optimizing yield, reducing scrap and downtime, ensuring on-time delivery, and coordinating S&OP inputs with buyers, CSR teams, and plant leadership. Requires advanced knowledge of machine capabilities and process flow from raw materials to customer delivery, proficiency with Oracle/ERP and Adobe for TMI, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with inventory controls
- Advanced knowledge of machine capabilities and performance
- Advanced knowledge of the entire process flow from raw material through production to customer delivery
- Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, E-mail
- Knowledge of ERP system
- Knowledge of Oracle and Adobe for TMI creation
- Ability to participate in weekly S&OP calls and manage forecast input
- Experience with front-line total inventory accountability
- Ability to react to forecast changes affecting supply and production planning
- Understanding of POs and material management
- Experience with CSR collaboration on orders and customer issues
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Onsite daily work environment
