Job Summary
Scheduling Coordinator for a multi-location oral surgery group. Responsibilities include scheduling and confirming oral surgery appointments across locations, coordinating referrals and ensuring pre-operative steps are completed, verifying insurance benefits and communicating patient financial responsibilities, submitting and following up on prior authorizations, communicating with patients and referring dental offices via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams, tracking case statuses and scheduling/billing workflows using SharePoint, supporting the coding team by ensuring chart and documentation readiness, and collaborating with teammates and surgeons to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Qualifications
